As members of the fraternity/sorority community, Alpha Delta Pi is proud to welcome those who want to enhance their college experience as part of something bigger. We select and maintain membership on the basis of scholarship, leadership, commitment, and service to the work of the sorority, the university, and the community. Alpha Delta Pi actively encourages a membership which represents a diverse population and does not discriminate in membership selection procedures. Come home to Alpha Delta Pi and find women who are true and loyal, just like our blue and white colors represent. ADPi sisters are leaders and visionaries. We are SGA senators, artists, student athletes, and scholars. We are committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. We committed to those when we established the first secret society for collegiate women in 1851 at the first university chartered to grant degrees to women. We are committed to them still today.

Welcome to the Zeta Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Illinois State University!

Whether you are a potential new member, Panhellenic sister, alumna, ADPi parent, or just visiting, we hope that our website can provide you with meaningful insight into what makes our chapter and “home away from home” so special.

I am an only child but since becoming a member of Alpha Delta Pi, I have discovered what sisterhood really means. Sisterhood is a shoulder to cry on, continuous laughter, and someone to cheer you on during the toughest moments. It is being accepted for who you are and embracing every sister’s unique talents and qualities. Our sisterhood is beyond college, it is a warmth in your heart that can be held onto forever. 

So, as you continue your journey, I hope that we can give you a glimpse of why Zeta Theta is so remarkable and how we embody our open motto: “We Live For Each Other.”

Since the moment I ran home to Alpha Delta Pi on Bid Day, I have been surrounded by a group of women who constantly outpour love, loyalty, and sisterhood. These women are the living embodiment of our open motto “We live for each other”. I am incredibly thankful for the support of my sisters as well as the community we have created here on our campus. 

Being a member of this chapter has given me a home away from home, countless leadership and service opportunities, friendships that will last a lifetime and so much more. When I think of Alpha Delta Pi, I think of the quote “Sometimes the best way to find out who you are is to go to the place where you don’t have to be anyone else”, as this phrase holds true to our sisterhood. I am proud to be a part of an organization that celebrates individuals for who they are.
